CEO Report: Second Quarter

Jeff Petersen CEO Report - Petersen Hastings

There are so many team members that help to make Petersen Hastings one of the most successful independent wealth management organizations in Washington State. This quarter, I would like to single out and recognize the many years of service from one of our former wealth managers, Ken Jordan.

Ken was a wealth manager and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner at Petersen Hastings from the beginning of 1996 to his retirement (2nd one!) in June of 2005. He was previously part of the executive team at Westinghouse Hanford until his first retirement. His passion for investments and financial planning led to his post-retirement career at Petersen Hastings. His propensity to focus on process and details made him a perfect fit for our organization and we benefited from his desire to pursue this passion. When Ken made the decision to retire again in 2005, we invited him to continue participating on our investment committee as an outside committee member. Fortunately for Petersen Hastings, he accepted this role. Ken has provided very thought-provoking insights over the years and helped the committee fulfill its mission through his alignment with Petersen Hastings’ fiduciary promise to our clients. We are very thankful for Ken’s contributions to Petersen Hastings and wish he and his wife, Pat, all the best in their relocation to Colorado.

Thank you, Ken!

Kenneth Jordan & Jeff Petersen.
