Scott joined Petersen Hastings in 1995 and has helped many people plan for and achieve comfortable financial futures. He has successfully advised clients through the “irrational exuberance” of the dot.com run up and subsequent correction, the “great recession” of 2007-2009 and subsequent recovery. His experience and expertise has helped many business owners successfully transition their companies to the next generation and outside sales.
Scott’s professional memberships include the Financial Planning Association and the Tri-Cities Estate Planning Council. He holds Business Administration degrees from Eastern Washington University in Finance and Economics. Scott is also on the Board of Directors for Zero Alpha Group (ZAG), an investment industry group.
Scott has remained involved with many community organizations and activities in the Tri-Cities over the years, demonstrating his passion for helping the community grow and prosper.
For fun – he competes in multi-sport events, mostly 70.3 and Olympic distance triathlons. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, running, hiking, hunting, golfing and skiing. Scott was a member of the Eastern Washington University men’s tennis team and still continues to plays every once in a while.
