Cory Briggs Passes the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Board of Standards Examination December 14, 2018
Petersen Hastings is proud to announce that Cory Briggs of Petersen Hastings has passed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Board of Standards Examination. The 7-hour CFP® certification examination is designed to assess your ability to integrate and apply a broad base of financial planning knowledge in the context of real life financial planning situations.
“There’s a reason the CFP® designation is considered the gold standard in the financial advice industry: it sets the highest standards and accepts nothing less,” said Scott Sarber, President. “By passing this exam, Cory has demonstrated he has attained a competency level necessary to practice autonomously as a financial planner with Petersen Hastings. Our team couldn’t be more proud of him and this accomplishment!”
The CFP® certification process, administered by CFP® Board, identifies to the public that those individuals who have been authorized to use the CFP® certification marks in the U.S. have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence when dealing with clients.
