Zero Alpha Group (ZAG), a national network of wealth management firms that apply exemplary financial thinking and practices to serve clients in a fiduciary capacity, announced earlier the election of Petersen Hastings CEO, Scott Sarber, CFP®, AIF® as Chairman of its Board of Directors. Sarber was elected for the two-year term by ZAG board members at a December meeting.
Continuing to lead ZAG member firms as we navigate the effects the pandemic has had on our clients and member firm employees is my top priority as chairman,” says Sarber who will provide leadership, vision, and direction to the organization. “The strong collaboration amongst our ZAG member firms has enabled us to pivot resources, technology, and services enabling us to continue to provide top quality care to our clients and support our employees when they have needed us most.”
Sarber replaces John Stephens, President of TCI Wealth Management, Inc. who completed his term as Board Chairman at the end of 2020. During his tenure, Stephens led ZAG through the development and implementation of a governance model for the organization and facilitated ZAG’s first Top Leaders Forum. He also steered ZAG’s early response to the COVID-19 crisis. Stephens, who is also a medical doctor, has offered unique insight on each phase of the pandemic, advising and guiding the group on how to respond to client needs, the best ways to support colleagues, and continued learning and development in a virtual environment.
