Overview

Ben learned at a young age while working on his family’s wheat farm, that through hard work, and proper planning, financial goals are achievable. Saving to buy his first car in high school and making sure he could pay for four years of college, were just a couple of examples of Ben putting a disciplined saving strategy in action. Now, in his role of Retirement Plans Advisor for Petersen Hastings, Ben is working with businesses and their employees to help them achieve their financial goals.

Ben has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Washington State University and has been in the financial services industry since 1999. He currently holds a Series 65 license as well as a Washington State Insurance license for Life, Disability, and Long Term Care. Ben recently earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from Fiduciary360 (fi360).

In his spare time, Ben enjoys attending WSU Cougar football games, spending time on the water in his boat, and many other outdoor activities. Ben is also a past Area Chairman and District Chairman of Ducks Unlimited and has a strong passion for waterfowl hunting and preserving wildlife habitat.
