Juan Arias

Juan Arias joined Petersen Hastings as a Portfolio Analyst in July 2026. In his role, he supports the team across a range of investment related services for new and existing clients, including executing security transactions, monitoring and maintaining client account asset allocation targets, preparing financial reports, and researching portfolio and investment strategies. A genuine interest in helping people work toward their financial goals, combined with the chance to continue his career at another RIA in the industry, led him to Petersen Hastings. 

Juan moved to the Tri-Cities from Portland, Oregon, to be closer to family in the area. He studied Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at Portland State University, along with minors in Accounting and Economics, where his interest in the financial industry first took shape. Before joining Petersen Hastings, he gained experience in billing support within the asset management industry, as well as prior experience as a legal assistant supporting an immigration law practice. 

Outside of the office, Juan is an avid NBA fan who follows the Portland Trail Blazers closely, and he loves hitting the road to explore new places. He’s looking forward to discovering more of what the Tri-Cities has to offer. He’s also a car enthusiast who plans to check out local car meets, and he enjoys spending quality time with family.
